On the passage of time, the universe, and life on earth and beyond – from the wells of understanding possessed by 13-year-old girls, lit by projections of stars.

I KNOW WHO HOLDS TOMORROW by Cris Eli Blak

Grief-stricken after her son loses his life in an act of gang violence, a woman is made aware of a new artificial intelligence technology that allows people to speak to AI-holographic versions of lost loved ones. What starts as a way of mourning slowly becomes unhealthy when she forms an attachment to the AI version of her son, prompting those around her to decide whether to let her continue living in her delusion or drag her back into the pains of mourning.
